We provide an ear wax removal service using microsuction which is syringe and water free. The treatment is performed in the comfort of your home and can be used if you have had previous surgery or trauma to the ear.

WHAT IS EAR WAX ?

Everyone has ear wax (cerumen) and it is there to protect the ear canal and ear drum from foreign bodies, dust and grime. Your ears are therefore self cleaning. Wax becomes a problem when there is a build up that covers the ear drum, causing symptoms such as deafness, dizziness or a sense of fullness.

Some people produce excess wax, have hairy ears or work in dirty environments which exacerbate wax build up, as do hearing aids and the ageing process when wax can become harder and impacted.

It can be tempting to take matters into your own hands and use cotton buds to extract or move the wax, but this is never recommended as it is more likely to push the wax further inwards, towards the delicate ear drum, exacerbating deafness.
